Ivydale Personal Care Home opened in 2005 at 1836 S. Main St., Moultrie, Georgia. Licensed as a family model personal care home, residents enjoy a home setting and quality personal care. Nutritious meals and snacks are planned with low sugar and low fat content while including homestyle cooking, fresh vegetables and fruit, and healthy snacks.

Realizing the increased demand for personal care home options, owners, Richard Carden and Geni Akridge, began to dream of expansion to a group home that would allow them to serve the needs of more residents.

Ivydale at Willow Lodge can accommodate 24 residents in the pristine green space once known as Wilkes' Nursery. All involved have worked diligently to preserve the green space the Wilkes so cherished. A screened porch will look out over the pond and her prize camellias are being preserved to adorn the grounds.
